Attorney Kara Newell received her J.D. with honors from the School of Law at Quinnipiac University in 2022, specializing in civil advocacy and dispute resolution. She was the Vice President of Public Relations for the Mock Trial Honor Society while in law school.
Attorney Newell also participated in two major national mock trial competitions during her time in the Mock Trial Honors Society: The American Association for Justice Student Advocacy Competition (AAJ/STAC) and The Texas Young Lawyer’s Association National Trial Competition (TYLA/NTC). In both competitions, she made it to the regional semifinals. Upon graduation, Attorney Newell received awards for Service to the Law School and Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy.
Before joining Aeton Law Partners and Injured CT, Attorney Newell handled multiple facets of personal injury litigation, including arbitrations, mediations, and trials at a busy personal injury firm. At Injured CT, attorney Newell is primarily responsible for handling litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on personal injury.
She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Litigation Section, Young Lawyers Section, and Women in Law Section. Attorney Newell enjoys staying involved when not representing others and serves as a guest judge and volunteer mock trial coach at Connecticut law schools.
