Education and Professional Associations
Kara Newell is an alumna of the Quinnipiac School of Law, where she focused on Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. Her early experiences serving as a liaison for victims of domestic violence set the foundation for her undying passion for representing injured individuals.
In acknowledgment of her dedication to the legal profession, Kara has received accolades including the ‘Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy’ and ‘Service to the Law School’.
She is the Executive Committee Chair for the Women in Law- Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and she’s also a proud member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
Kara’s connection with her local community is further exemplified through her volunteer work with Lawyers in the Library, coaching Mock Trials at multiple law schools, volunteering at Law Camp by the CBA, serving as a volunteer attorney for the Connection Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and being a member of the Volunteer Panel for the District Court of Connecticut.
