Kara Newell

Attorney Newell graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law, cum laude, in 2022, where she received a concentration, with honors, in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. In law school she was actively involved in the Mock Trial Honor’s Society, serving as the Vice President of Public Relations. During her involvement in Mock Trial Honors Society, Attorney Newell competed in the two national mock trial competitions: The Texas Young Lawyer’s Association National Trial Competition (TYLA/NTC) and The American Association for Justice Student Advocacy Competition (AAJ/STAC). She advanced to the regional semifinals in both competitions. Attorney Newell graduated with the following awards: Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy and Service to the Law School.

Prior to joining Aeton Law Partners, Attorney Newell worked at a fast-paced personal injury firm where she handled all aspects of personal injury litigation including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Attorney Newell focuses on litigation matters at Aeton, with a focus on personal injury. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Section, Women in Law Section, and Litigation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. When she is not advocating for others, Attorney Newell enjoys staying active and serves as a volunteer mock trial coach and guest judge at the law schools in Connecticut.
